Which one do you do first?

Interior detailing spray then vacuum?

Or vacuum, then interior detailing spray?

Vacuum first, use all your chemicals and products, then vacuum again after a wipe down to give a last check

I think vacuum first, to remove any easily removable stray dust and dirt particles.

//but what I do I know

I typically start from the bottom up, so: Vacuum, cleaning dash/trim, then glass.

I usually don't do it in any particular order, but usually I use the interior cleaner and all the other stuff and then vacuum all that stuff up. But when I use deep carpet cleaner, which I actually use quite commonly I vacuum first.

Vacuum everything first using a brush to get round all the gaps and airvents. Then all purpose clean plastics and wipe down before applying a dressing then do all the glass followed by another quick vacuum of any debris that may of been dislodged.

It's easier to detail if the dirt and filth is sucked out of the car first. Then you aren't cleaning dirt or dragging it anywhere.

I vacuum first....(carpet, seats, door panels, dashboard) then clean all the interior plastic with this stuff . If I have any stains on the carpet or seats, I'll use this stuff or Simple Green at 1/2 strength for any tough carpet stains.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Last thing I do is clean the glass with this stuff and wadded up newspaper. The wadded up newspaper doesn't leave any lint behind like paper towels.

I'll use a low gloss vinyl protectant on all the interior plastics maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

I think the key to having a clean car is to not let it get too dirty....if you keep after it, doing the interior will only take 20 minutes and maybe a couple hours twice a year to do a complete interior detail.
